Project Overview

We recently worked alongside civil construction company Cape to carry out non-destructive hydro excavation on a major trenching project. Our hydro vac truck was used to safely remove sand and debris from 3-metre-deep trenches containing critical underground services, including fibre optics, gas lines, and Water Corp assets.

Project Details

Using high-pressure water and vacuum technology, we were able to expose these assets without the risk of damage that traditional excavation methods pose. This no-dig approach ensured precision, safety, and efficiency across the site. As a small WA-owned business, we're proud to support civil contractors with flexible, specialist solutions for high-risk and service-heavy environments. The project required careful co-ordination with Cape Construction's timeline and strict adherence to safety protocols when working around live utilities. Our experienced operators used precise water pressure settings to gradually expose each service, allowing the construction team to proceed with confidence knowing all underground assets were safely identified and protected.
